We are currently running a display at the Arnold Public Library showing how to protect your artwork and photographs from the effects of time, air pollution and damage from light and BAD framing methods and materials.
The ”Chamber of Horrors” section, which graphically illustrates what can happen if you do not know how to protect your treasured memories, should give you cause for concern - you have no excuses now, the information is there for you to see.
We also offer some suggestions on different framing ideas to get you thinking.
The display is completely free to visit and is available whilst the Library is open - go along, you might learn something.
The framing side of our business is as brisk as ever but the sales of “wall art” - framed prints and giftware - have been a little slow in this first quarter so we have decided to take the opportunity to encourage a few more sales and have a clear out so that we can refresh our walls and shelves with new items.
The benefit for you is a rare sale offering discounts of up to 50% on framed prints and 25% on giftware so come along and take advantage to get yourself a bargain whilst you can, but don’t delay - when they are gone they are gone.
